Methamphetamine Testing
With the growing use and manufacture of methamphetamine, Apollo have seen an increased requirement for these services. Through our strategic relationships with suppliers and laboratories, we have positioned ourselves as a leader in the identification of the signature chemicals involved in the use and manufacture of Methamphetamine, including the provision of NATA accredited laboratory analysis.
Methamphetamine, also known as Ice, Meth, P is listed (schedule 2) on the United Nations Convention on Psychotropic Substances. In Australia it is a Schedule 8 prohibited substance under the Poisons Standard (Schedule 8 substances which should be available for use but require restriction of manufacture, supply, distribution, possession and use to reduce abuse, misuse and physical or psychological dependence).
In Western Australia, the Misuse of Drugs Act details that possession of 4.0grams of Methamphetamine is grounds for a court trial, 2.0grams is is the amount required for the presumption of intent to sell or supply and 28 grams constitutes drug trafficking.
